We had an animal-tastic week with our children. We worked in the programme, 2DIY Grouping. We asked them to choose animals and then decide if it was a wild animal or pet. Those animals were either put in Group 1: Wild Animals or Group 2: Pets. Afterwards, the children played the educational game where all the animals chosen, were mixed and had to be sorted into the appropriate group (Wild Animal or Pet). It was fun watching the children race each other to see who could group them the fastest. The best part of the lesson was when a few children told us they had an elephant as a pet, or a dolphin living in their swimming pool! To keep with our animal theme, I would like to wish everyone a toadally pawsome week!
