This week our Pre-schoolers and Grade R’s had a story time during their Computer Lesson. They had a wonderful time going through ‘Sally’s Seaside Adventure’. The children learnt mouse skills as well as hand-eye co-ordination. They also learnt about different sea creatures and were taught a new word: souvenir. They helped Sally built a sandcastle and made their own ice-creams. We have to admit that the ice-creams we saw were delicious! With the Mid-term break coming around the corner maybe everyone needs a little Vitamin Sea too!

Africa offers a unique mix of culture, wildlife and beautiful landscape and we were inspired by this topic for our Grade 3 to 5. We asked them to be creative, use their typing skills and to work in Microsoft Office Word to accomplish this. The children learnt how to change font styles, font colours and size. We were all very impressed with the incredible poems we saw and would love to share one with everyone.

We are loving teaching your little ones. Their excitement as they explore new and exciting things is wonderful to see. This week our focus has been on 'body image' and we have used iPads and your children's creativity to design and make puzzles of themselves. |
